This project involved working with a wonderful family who already loved spending time in their garden.Through a series of thoughtful, carefully placed design updates, we elevated the space to a whole new level—adding character, comfort, and joy without overwhelming its original charm.Even small changes can have a powerful effect when done with intention, and this garden is now a more vibrant and functional extension of the family’s daily life.

This project was a true collaboration with a nature-loving family who deeply enjoy spending time in their garden.
In the front yard, a cherished tree stood proudly—its base raised well above ground level due to elevation differences. Instead of removing it, we celebrated it. Using warm wood elements, we built a custom planter around its trunk and filled it with perennials, transforming it into a striking garden centerpiece.

In the backyard, poorly handled construction work had left steep, awkward slopes in front of the retaining walls. We addressed this by creating clean, raised wooden flower beds that gave the garden clarity, symmetry, and an elegant visual structure.

The family, who even produce their own compost, inspired us to add a small greenhouse to protect their vegetables from sudden temperature shifts. Every corner of the garden was handled with care—focusing on aesthetic precision, smart use of materials, and tailored planting choices.

The result is a landscape that is functional, sustainable, low-maintenance, and visually stunning—a perfect reflection of the family's spirit and values.
