01. The Challenge and The Fundamental approaches

This project involved designing the landscaping for 40 homes within a residential site, all with the same layout. The design had to be identical for every property, as the entire landscaping work was to be managed by the site administration under an equal, unified approach. The promise was clear: the same design, the same budget, and the same quality for each home.

The biggest challenge was creating a single design that would appeal to 40 different homeowners. To address this, we developed a flexible base design that meets essential needs, yet allows for future personalization. The infrastructure and layout were created in a way that could later be adapted to reflect individual preferences—without compromising the harmony of the site.

02. The implementations and The Solution

The gardens in this project offered generous and highly functional square footage. We established core design principles from the beginning—such as including space for vegetable beds, fruit trees, a large shade tree, and wide lawn areas for children to play. Our focus was on creating easy-to-maintain, sustainable landscapes that could support daily life and seasonal enjoyment.

We designed the gardens to provide privacy and comfort, using climate-appropriate plants suited for cold winters and hot, dry summers.One of our key design principles is to clearly separate lawn and planting areas with proper edging. This allows the irrigation system to work with maximum efficiency. In addition, this clear separation makes lawn care, mowing, and overall maintenance much easier and more manageable.n the backyard, we created lawn areas for children to play freely. In contrast, the front yard was designed with water conservation in mind—avoiding turf and instead using low-maintenance, year-round plants that thrive in all seasons.The vegetable gardens were designed as separate sections, allowing for healthier and more controlled plant growth. A dedicated irrigation system was also installed specifically for the vegetable areas to ensure proper watering and maintenance.

03. The Result

The final landscape design was very well-received by all residents. It became a model that many requested to be implemented exactly as presented. The project stood out for its thoughtful plant selections, visually impactful layout, efficient irrigation system, clearly defined lawn and planting areas, and integrated privacy solutions—all of which came together to create a highly functional and aesthetically pleasing outdoor space.
